Getting started
The two things PACE tracks
Routines
A repeatable list of time-boxed tasks. Run one and PACE tracks each task against its limit, so you always know whether you're ahead or behind — even from the Lock Screen.
Best for mornings, wind-downs, and focus blocks.
Journeys
A longer goal broken into milestones with target dates. Work sessions count up, and PACE tells you if the finish line is still within reach.
Best for deadlines and habits you keep up over weeks.

FAQ
Common questions
Troubleshooting
Fixes worth trying first
No sound or notifications
- Settings → Notifications → PACE: allow notifications, sounds, and Time Sensitive alerts.
- Check that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn't filtering PACE out.
- Take the phone off silent — spoken cues duck other audio but chimes still follow the ringer switch.
Lock Screen tracking missing
- Settings → PACE → Live Activities: on.
- Settings → Face ID & Passcode → Live Activities on Lock Screen: on.
- Start the routine again — a Live Activity only appears for a run started after the setting is enabled.
Watch is out of step
- Keep both devices unlocked and nearby while a routine runs.
- Open PACE on the watch to reconnect the control bridge.
- If it stays stuck, quit and reopen both apps before starting the run.
Data missing on a new device
- Sign in to the same iCloud account and turn on iCloud Drive.
- Open PACE with a connection — the backup restores on launch.
- Don't add data on the new device first; the more recently changed copy wins.
